Argo Transdata uses Siemens UGS Tecnomatix Unicam software for CAD translation of your PCB design for:

• The programming of our Pick & Place equipment;

• The programming of our AOI Automated Optical Inspection equipment;

• The generation of inspection documentation used in our ViewStation Inspection stations;

• Work and assembly instructions. 

This not only ensures we get the job done exactly to your design specifications, but also provides us a fast, accurate and inexpensive means for converting your BOM and design into a program that is ready to run.  

To ensure accuracy and repeatability, we include photos and color descriptions of each manufacturing step to better ensure the job is done right the first time. 

This includes color coded part numbering block diagrams corresponding to the appropriate color coded component location as shown on the assembly diagrams along with all necessary part characteristics such as polarity marks and component shape outlines.

IN PROCESS INSPECTION

Argo Transdata maintains a rigorous 1st Piece inspection system where each step of the assembly process is verified for completion and accuracy by a certified inspector prior to continuing production. 

This ensures your product is 100% perfect throughout the manufacturing process. 

AQL is utilized for determining the frequency of the in process inspection so more than just the first assembly is audited. 

This provides Argo Transdata immediate feedback in case any issues arise during manufacturing. 

Our technical service team can then be engaged to review documentation, component information or address manufacturing difficulties and contact the appropriate source to resolve any issues. 

The customer is immediately informed when there is any discrepancy to minimize any lost time and ensure all decisions are correct and communicated.

FINAL INSPECTION

Final inspection is always 100%.  Argo Transdata utilizes both manual visual inspection using 40x magnification and Automatic Optical Inspection using a Viscom SO3088 AOI. 

AOI provides 100% component and solder joint inspection utilizing 8 high resolution cameras. 

With advanced lighting, optics, and image processing capabilities, AOI greatly enhances inspection repeatability, accuracy and throughput.

Argo Transdata has the technical expertise to perform any aspect of functional testing you require including functional testing of micro hybrid assemblies utilizing COB technology.

CALIBRATION CONTROL

In accordance with ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994 standards,  Argo Transdata performs an annual calibration on all test equipment ensuring accurate measurements are performed on your product.

ENVIRONMENT TESTING

Need to perform environmental cycling or burn-in?  We can handle that too.  With Tenney Environmental Test Chambers, we can temperature cycle your assemblies and with real time data chart recorders, you can know exactly how your assembly performs over extremes. 

We can use both air or nitrogen gas environments.
